Typography
Communication in GWH's designed media takes place exclusively in Univers fonts. Univers is a modern sans serif font with a functional appearance that remains easy to read even in longer texts.
To ensure a consistent appearance in collaborative Office documents, we use Arial as the standard font in PowerPoint, Word, and email templates, as it is available system-wide, license-compliant, and layout-stable.
Writings
Big headlines and statements
Univers 63 Extended Bold is used for large titles and headlines. It should only be used for headlines that take up a lot of space. Smaller headlines and subheadings are set in Univers 65 Bold as usual. Where Univers 63 Extended Bold is too wide in terms of space, but a striking headline is required, Univers 75 Black can also be used.
This rule applies to both digital and print media.
In special cases or for specific topics—particularly in the area of social media—it is permissible to use fonts that complement the design. However, this should be done sparingly and with caution so as not to overload the graphic line.
General font
Smaller headlines and body text
The font style "Roman" (Univers 55) is used for headings and body text. The font style "Bold" (Univers 65) is used for emphasis and subheadings.
