Corporate Design
The colors of GWH
GWH's appearance is rich in color and contrast. The spectrum ranges from minimal use of color with the green GWH logo to multicolored designs. We take the respective target group into account and adapt the use of colors accordingly—from serious, informative, and focused on figures, data, and facts (target group: banks/shareholders) to colorful layouts that radiate emotional closeness, well-being, and warmth (target group: tenants).

Primary color
GWH logo green
The primary color of GWH is the green shade of the GWH logo. It is the most striking color of GWH and therefore one of the most important elements of the corporate identity. It should therefore be used in all publications.

Accessible color contrasts
Sufficient color contrast is a prerequisite for accessible digital products. Colors must not only be used for purely design purposes, but must also meet measurable contrast requirements.
- Icons, graphic elements, UI components: at least 3:1
- Text: at least 4.5:1
The contrast must always be checked using appropriate tools (browser tools, program plug-ins). This is WCAG level AA.
The GWH standard green (#009696) does not meet these requirements in all cases. For digital applications, the adapted green #008480 may therefore be used in exceptional cases (!), especially for text. This does not replace the brand green, but serves exclusively to ensure sufficient legibility.
As a general rule, colors can be freely selected as long as the required contrast values are maintained.
