The new student residence is part of the Varinia residential project in the north of Frankfurt. Between Bonames and Nieder-Eschbach, in the northern part of the am Bügel district, a total of twelve buildings with modern student apartments and rental apartments for first-time occupancy, a daycare center and underground parking have been under construction since 2019.

The new student residence is part of the Varinia residential project in the north of Frankfurt. Between Bonames and Nieder-Eschbach, in the northern part of the Quartier am Bügel, a total of twelve buildings with modern rental apartments and student apartments for first-time occupancy, a daycare center and underground parking are being built.
The hall of residence has a total of 118 rooms in one-bedroom apartments, 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom, 4-bedroom and 6-bedroom shared apartments, all of which can be reached by elevator. Bright common rooms on the first and third floors offer space for leisure activities and meetings.
All apartments and shared flats are equipped with a kitchenette. The rooms themselves are unfurnished and can be furnished as you wish. Multimedia connections for TV and internet, floor-to-ceiling windows, wood-look vinyl flooring, towel radiators and level-access showers in the bathrooms ensure modern living comfort. The south-facing apartments on the second floor have large balconies, while the 4th floor has large roof terraces.
Optional parking spaces can be rented in the underground garage, which can be accessed through the basement. There is also a bicycle storage room here. A launderette will also be set up on the first floor.

The total rent is made up of the basic rent plus a flat-rate operating cost of € 200 per room/month. The operating costs include heating and running costs as well as electricity and internet charges. The deposit is € 600 per room.
Infrastructure
The angular residential complex with an integrated daycare center on the first floor borders a spacious park with a pond and complements the existing student residence in the neighborhood. A discount store diagonally opposite covers daily needs, while the nearest full-range supermarket is less than five minutes walk away. A nearby row of stores also offers a bakery, pharmacy, kiosk and non-food suppliers as well as various doctors. Large retailers such as Ikea and Hornbach as well as a garden center have settled in the immediate vicinity.
The area surrounding Varinia also has a lot to offer in terms of leisure activities: Sports enthusiasts will find a wide range of clubs at TuS Nieder-Eschbach and water lovers can swim laps or slide into the cool water at the outdoor pool on the sports field. Neighbouring Kalbach has a sports and leisure center as well as a golf club.
Ben-Gurion-Ring is very well connected to public transportation. A bus stop on line 29 is right outside the front door, and the subway is around ten minutes walk away. The Riedberg campus can be reached by bus or train in around 20 minutes, and the Westend campus can also be reached by subway in around 20 minutes. The Hauptwache in the city center is about 25 minutes away.
