Fall and Halloween Contest

For reasons of better readability, the simultaneous use of the language forms male, female and diverse (m/f/d) is dispensed with. All personal designations apply equally to all genders.

 

Terms and Conditions of Participation

Participation in the contest sponsored by GWH Immobilien Holding GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the “Operator” or “Organizer,” is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these Terms and Conditions. By participating in the contest, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Duration and Procedure of the Contest

The contest runs from October 22, 2026, through October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. During this period, users will have the opportunity to participate online in a social media contest on Instagram and Facebook.

 

Participation

To enter the giveaway, the organizer will post a giveaway post on each of its Instagram and Facebook channels. To enter validly, users must follow the organizer’s respective channel and post a comment under the giveaway post with a photo they took themselves of their fall or Halloween decorations. Each user is eligible to enter the drawing only once, regardless of the number of comments they post. The design of the decorations has no bearing on the odds of winning.

 

Photo Credits

The participant warrants that he or she took the photo himself or herself and has full rights to it. No individuals should be recognizable in the photo. If individuals are nevertheless recognizable, the participant warrants that he or she has obtained their consent for publication. The participant grants the operator permission to share the photo on its Instagram and Facebook channels, crediting the participant’s username. The photo will not be used for any other purpose. Comments posted after 11:59 p.m. on October 31, 2026, will not be considered. Participation in the contest is free of charge.

 

Eligible Participants

Anyone who is at least 18 years of age and resides in Germany is eligible to participate in the contest. Employees of GWH Immobilien Holding GmbH, Westerbachstraße 33, 60489 Frankfurt am Main, and its subsidiaries are excluded from participation. Participation using false identities or the identities of third parties is not permitted.

 

Winnings and Notification of Winnings

The winner will be selected by random drawing on November 2, 2026, from among all valid entries on Instagram and Facebook. The winner will be notified via direct message on the platform through which they entered. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that their name (username) may be mentioned on Instagram or Facebook, as applicable.

A drawing will be held among eligible participants to win:

1 BUTLERS gift certificate worth 250 €

The respective prize is neither transferable, nor can the prize be exchanged or paid out in cash. If circumstances arise for which we are not responsible, the respective winner will accept an appropriate substitute prize.

 

Early Termination and Amendments

The operator reserves the right to terminate the contest early, in whole or in part, at any time—even without prior notice—or to modify its terms if, for technical or legal reasons, it is not possible to guarantee the proper conduct of the contest.

 

Exclusion

A violation of these Terms and Conditions entitles us to exclude the participant from the contest. This applies in particular if the participant provides false information, uses photos belonging to others, or submits content that violates applicable law or the rights of third parties. Offensive, inappropriate, or promotional content will be removed, and the participant will be excluded from the contest. If the excluded participant is a winner who has already been selected in a drawing, the prize may be revoked retroactively.

 

Data protection

Providing personal information is required to participate in the sweepstakes. The winner certifies that the personal information provided, in particular first name, last name, and email address, is truthful and accurate. The organizer collects the winners’ home or shipping address and phone number for the purpose of shipping the prizes as part of the prize notification. The organizer notes that none of the participant’s personal data will be disclosed to third parties or made available to them for use without the participant’s consent. An exception to this are the companies commissioned to administer the contest and handle shipping, which must collect, store, and use the data for the purposes of administering the contest and shipping the prizes. The participant may revoke their consent at any time. The revocation must be submitted in writing to info@gwh.de. Upon revocation of consent, the participant’s collected and stored personal data will be deleted immediately, and the participant will be excluded from the contest. Instagram and Facebook Disclaimer

This promotion is not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Platforms and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or organized by them. Any questions or complaints regarding the contest should be directed to the operator. The operator’s contest is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

 

Severability Clause

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid, in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that most closely approximates, in economic terms, the intent and purpose expressed in the invalid provision.
